China's Coast Guard Boards Taiwanese Tourist Boat, Triggering Protests from Taipei

In another incident, Chinese coast guard officials briefly boarded a Taiwanese cruise ship, leading to Beijing announcing increased patrols in response to the deaths of two Chinese fishermen in a previous incident. These developments come after China's announcement to step up its presence in the area.
