China sanctions 5 US defense companies in response to US sanctions and arms sales to Taiwan

The FTSE 100 company's subsidiary, which supplies combat vehicles and munitions, has been hit with sanctions. BAE Systems Land and Armaments is banned from doing business with other companies or individuals in China. Alliant Techsystems Operations, AeroVironment, ViaSat and Data Link Solutions were also sanctioned.
