China Coast Guard Detains Taiwanese Fishing Boat Near Disputed Islands
A Taiwanese fishing boat, named Dajinman 88, was intercepted by two Chinese coast guard vessels while operating near the Kinmen islands. According to reports, Chinese officers boarded the boat and escorted it to a nearby Chinese port. Taiwan has demanded that China release the crew and vessel, which were seized outside of Taiwanese waters.
