The iconic French drag cabaret, Chez Michou, has announced its closure after 68 years of burlesque performances. According to reports, the decision was made due to financial reasons, with the management stating that a liquidator will be appointed next month to find a buyer for the small nightclub. Founded in 1956 by Michel Catty, a renowned cabaret artist, Chez Michou has hosted numerous notable performers, including Liza Minnelli and Serge Gainsbourg. Interestingly, the club's closure was also mentioned on social media, with Chez Michou stating that Sunday's performance would be its last due to financial reasons.
