Celine Dion distances herself from use of Titanic theme at Donald Trump rally
Celine Dion's management team and record label, Sony, have disavowed the use of her song "My Heart Will Go On" at a Donald Trump/J.D. Vance rally in Montana, stating that it was not authorized. The song, which is a classic ballad from the movie Titanic, was played at the event, sparking controversy. Some speculate that a supporter of Kamala Harris orchestrated the inclusion of the song to draw a parallel between Trump's campaign and the ill-fated Titanic. In response, Dion's team released a statement on X, saying she did not endorse the use of the song and questioning the choice of the song itself. This is not the first time that Trump has used a song without permission, with other artists and bands previously complaining about his use of their music.
