Car Attack in Munich Kills Mother and Toddler

A 24-year-old Afghan asylum seeker intentionally drove a car into a crowd of people, resulting in the deaths of a 37-year-old mother and her 2-year-old daughter. At least 37 people were injured in the attack. The suspect was arrested and has been identified as having Islamist extremist motives.
