Canadians and Russians File Appeals Over Figure Skating Team Event Ranking at 2022 Winter Olympics

Canada and Russia have both filed cases with the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) regarding the figure skating team event at the Winter Olympics. The Canadians are seeking to move up from their fourth place finish to secure the bronze medal, while the Russians are attempting to regain the gold medal position that was initially awarded to them but later taken away due to a doping violation by one of their athletes, Kamila Valieva. Eight members of the Canadian team have filed a case at CAS.
