Brazilian court sentences pro-Bolsonaro rioter to 17 years in prison for storming Senate
Aécio Lúcio Costa Pereira, 51, is first rioter to be tried for January assault. He stormed the floor of the Senate on January 8, as thousands of Bolsonaro supporters rioted. Eight of the 11 justices of the court ruled that Pereira committed five crimes.
