Brazil Supreme Court reinstates X, lifts ban after Elon Musk's company meets court's demands

Elon Musk's social network X was blocked in Brazil for over a month after failing to comply with court orders and refusing to appoint a local representative. The ban was a result of a long-standing dispute between Musk and Judge Alexandre de Mores over hate speech moderation and misinformation. X eventually paid millions of dollars in fines and blocked accounts accused of spreading hate speech and misinformation. Despite Musk's initial vow not to comply, the company eventually capitulated and appointed a legal representative in the country, allowing the ban to be lifted.
