Boeing Starliner's Inaugural Crewed Mission Postponed Due to Safety Check
The first crewed flight of Boeing's Starliner spaceship was unexpectedly called off just two hours before its scheduled launch on Monday night. The decision was made by NASA officials, with NASA chief Bill Nelson tweeting "Standing down on tonight's attempt to launch" and announcing that the next possible launch date would be Tuesday night. According to reports, a technical issue arose that could not be resolved in time for the planned lift-off from Kennedy Space Center in Florida. This marks at least a 24-hour delay for the long-awaited first crewed test flight of the Starliner space capsule, which had previously completed an uncrewed test flight two years ago.
