Blue Origin's New Glenn Rocket Achieves Orbit on Maiden Voyage

Blue Origin, founded by Amazon's Jeff Bezos, successfully reached orbit with its New Glenn rocket on its first test flight. The rocket lifted off from the Cape Canaveral Space Force Base in Florida at 2:03 am, but failed to land on its platform in the ocean. The New Glenn rocket is a massive 30-storey vehicle that was named after John Glenn, the first American to orbit the Earth in 1962.
