The rocket lifted off from the Cape Canaveral Space Force Base in Florida at 2:03 am, but failed to land on its platform in the ocean. The New Glenn rocket is a massive 30-storey vehicle that was named after John Glenn, the first American to orbit the Earth in 1962.
