Bishop Stabbed During Church Service in Sydney

On Monday, April 15, during a sermon at Christ The Good Shepherd Church in Wakeley, a bishop was stabbed several times in the face, head, and chest by an attacker. Several members of the congregation intervened before the YouTube stream cut off. The priest fell to the floor and was struck again. A man was arrested and taken into custody. Following the incident, hundreds of people gathered outside the church, throwing rocks at police and demanding they bring out the perpetrator. Over 100 police officers were called in to maintain order.
