Belgium and Ukraine Sign Security Pact Amid Calls for Western Intervention in Russian Conflict

Belgium has committed to providing significant military aid to Ukraine, including the delivery of fighter jets and financial assistance. According to reports, Belgium will provide 30 F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine by 2028, with the first aircraft expected to arrive this year. Additionally, Belgium has pledged to allocate at least 977 million euros in military aid to Ukraine for this year.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has been actively seeking support from Western leaders in his country's conflict with Russia. Recently, he signed a bilateral security agreement with Belgian Prime Minister Alexander De Croo, which includes 977 million euros in military aid to Ukraine this year.
