Banksy unveils eighth artwork in animal-themed London series
Banksy has been creating and unveiling a series of artworks in London, with a new piece being posted on his Instagram account every day since last Monday. The artworks feature various animals, including a rhino, piranhas, and a goat, and are often presented in a humorous or satirical way. One piece, depicting a rhino mounting a broken-down car, was defaced by a man wearing a black balaclava, while another, featuring a fish tank, was moved to a "safe location" by the City of London Corporation. The police are investigating criminal damage in relation to one of the artworks, which turned a police sentry box into a fish tank. Banksy has been posting his new work at approximately 1pm every day, with a total of eight artworks revealed in the capital in as many days.
