Babies Freeze to Death in Gaza Amid Israeli Blockade and War

At least three Palestinian infants have died from hypothermia in the al-Mawasi refugee camp in Gaza in the past 48 hours, with the most recent victim being a three-week-old baby. According to health officials, one of the victims, Sela Mahmoud Al-Fasih, "froze to death from the extreme cold". The camp's harsh conditions, including bitter winds and lack of access to warm shelter, have been identified as contributing factors to the infant deaths.
