Authorities warn of flash floods as Typhoon Gaemi hits China

Typhoon Gaemi has caused significant damage and disruption in the Philippines, Taiwan, and mainland China. The storm made landfall in Fujian province, China, after affecting the Philippines and Taiwan, where it caused widespread flooding and landslides. Over 240,000 people were evacuated before the storm made landfall, and more than 150,000 people in Fujian province were relocated to safer areas.
