At least 9 migrants die, dozens rescued in Mediterranean shipwreck

A boat carrying over 30 refugees capsized approximately 55 kilometers (30 nautical miles) southeast of Lampedusa island in international waters. Twenty-three survivors reached the Italian island, but one of them later died, bringing the death toll to nine.
