At least 5 dead as South Korean capital Seoul grapples with heavy snow

Seoul has experienced significant snowfall in recent days. The amount of snow varied across different areas, but the heaviest snowfall occurred in parts of Yongin city, south of the capital, where 47.7 inches of snow was recorded. This snowfall was the heaviest November snowfall in more than 100 years, according to some reports. Additionally, five-vehicle accident resulted in one death and four injuries, and at least five snowfall-related deaths have been reported in the province of Gyeonggi adjoining Seoul.
