At least 49 migrants feared dead and 140 missing after boat capsizes off the coast of Yemen
A UN agency reports that at least 49 migrants have died and 140 others remain missing after a boat carrying over 200 migrants capsized off the southern province of Shabwah in Yemen. The boat, which departed from Somalia on Sunday morning, was carrying 115 Somali nationals and 145 Ethiopians who were attempting to reach Gulf states via Yemen. According to local authorities, those on board were migrants using Yemen as a transit point.
