At least 21 Dead and 6 Missing in Indonesia Floods and Landslides

According to various reports, the number of deaths and missing individuals due to floods and landslides in the Indonesian provinces of West Sumatra, specifically in the Pesisir Selatan regency, has been rising since Thursday. The exact number of fatalities varies between 10 and 21, with six to ten people reported missing in different articles. The villages of Sutera subdistrict have been particularly affected, leaving around 200 families isolated. Rescue efforts are ongoing to locate the missing individuals. The cause of these disasters was attributed to torrential rains in all reports.
