At least 14 dead as severe floods and landslides batter parts of Bosnia and Herzegovina

Multiple landslides and severe flooding have occurred in Bosnia-Herzegovina, resulting in significant loss of life and property damage. According to official reports, at least 19 people have died, although the death toll is expected to rise. The town of Jablanica, one of the hardest hit areas, has been described as "completely cut off" due to the severity of the flooding. Heavy rainfall is believed to be the cause of the disasters, with multiple towns in southern Bosnia experiencing severe flooding.

At least 18-20 people have been reported dead in flash floods and landslides in central Bosnia-Herzegovina, with the worst scenes occurring around Jablanica. The municipality of Jablanica was severely affected, with some houses reduced to rubble and road and railway links destroyed, leaving the area completely cut off. The flooding has been described as Bosnia's worst since 2014.
