At least 100 people killed in two weeks of fighting in Sudan's el-Fasher city

The city of el-Fasher, the provincial capital of North Darfur province, has been experiencing intense clashes between the military and the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces since early May. According to reports, at least 134 people have been killed and over 900 wounded in the fighting, with one victim being a staff watchman who died from his wounds after shelling hit his house on Saturday. The city is the last stronghold still held by the military in the Darfur region.
