Astronomers discover massive stellar black hole in Milky Way galaxy
According to multiple recent reports, astronomers have identified the most massive known stellar black hole in the Milky Way galaxy. The black hole, named Gaia BH3, is located approximately 1,926 light-years away from Earth in the Aquila constellation. Gaia BH3 has a mass that is nearly 33 times greater than that of our sun.
It is important to note that Sagittarius A*, the central supermassive black hole of the Milky Way, is estimated to have a mass 4 million times that of the Sun.
