As US deadline looms, Amazon and OnlyFans founder make last-minute bids for TikTok
The Trump administration has been negotiating with ByteDance, the parent company of TikTok, to sell the platform to a non-Chinese buyer. US President Donald Trump gave the platform a reprieve on Inauguration Day, allowing it to remain operational in the US for the time being. However, under the law, ByteDance is required to sell TikTok to an approved buyer or take it offline in the US by April 5.
