Argentina's Education Sector Sees Widespread Protests Over Budget Cuts

In recent days, massive protests have taken place in Buenos Aires and Cordoba, Argentina, with labor unions, opposition parties, and private universities supporting the demonstrations. The protests are primarily aimed at opposing government cuts to the public university system. According to police estimates, around 100,000 people attended the protest in Buenos Aires alone, while organizers claim that nearly half a million people participated. Students, including Pablo Vicenti, a third-year medicine student, have expressed outrage over what they perceive as a "brutal attack" on the university system by the government.
