Apple cancels work on electric car project
Apple made an unexpected announcement during an internal team meeting on Tuesday that they will be shifting some employees from their long-term Project Titan, which aimed to develop an electric, semi-autonomous vehicle, to work on generative artificial intelligence (AI). The decision was shared by Apple's Chief Operating Officer Jeff Williams and a vice-president in charge of the project. Some employees may be transferred to the AI division under executive John Giannandrea.
