Algerian Man Missing for 26 Years Found Held Captive in Neighbor's Cellar

An Algerian man, Omar bin Omran, went missing in 1996 at the age of 19 from his hometown of Djelfa. His family believed he was either killed or kidnapped during the Algerian Civil War that took place in 1998, along with hundreds of thousands of others. However, it has recently been discovered that Omar was actually being held captive by a 61-year-old doorman who lived alone and had kept him hidden in his cellar for 26 years.
