Alexei Navalny's Memoir to Be Published, According to Widow
Alexei Navalny, a Russian opposition politician, died at the age of 47 while serving a sentence in an Arctic penal colony in February. According to his widow, Yulia Navalnaya, he had been working on writing a biography before his death. She shared that she was surprised by this turn of events as she hadn't imagined him writing his autobiography in such circumstances. Navalny's allies have accused Russian President Vladimir Putin of involvement in his death, which the Kremlin denies. Prior to his passing, Navalny had expressed his ambition to become the president of Russia and was known for being Putin's fiercest critic. Some reports suggest that he began working on the book after being poisoned in 2020.
