Airlines suspend flights to Beirut amid escalating tensions between Israel and Lebanon
Several airlines have suspended or canceled flights to Beirut due to ongoing tensions in the Middle East. Lufthansa has suspended flights to Beirut until July 30, and then until August 5. Air France has suspended flights between Paris and Beirut on July 29 and 30. Middle East Airlines has postponed the return of some flights due to insurance risks. Turkish Airlines and SunExpress have canceled flights scheduled to land in Beirut on Monday. Royal Jordanian Airlines has also suspended flights to Beirut on Monday and Tuesday.
