Abercrombie & Fitch CEO pleads not guilty to sex trafficking charges

Michael Jeffries, the former CEO of Abercrombie & Fitch, has pleaded not guilty to federal sex trafficking and interstate prostitution charges. Along with Jeffries, 71-year-old James Jacobson, an alleged middleman, has also pleaded not guilty. Prosecutors allege that Jeffries lured men into participating in sex parties between 2008 and 2015 in the Hamptons, a wealthy summer resort on Long Island. The charges involve 15 alleged victims who were induced by force, fraud, and coercion. Jeffries has been released on a US$10 million bond and will remain under home confinement with GPS monitoring until his next court appearance on December 12.
