AT&T cellular outages disrupt vital services in several US cities
There were multiple reports of AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile customers experiencing issues with their cellular service connectivity beginning as early as 4:30 am Eastern Time on Thursday. The number of incidents reported reached over 70,000 by 8:15 am ET. Cities where users encountered the most disruptions included San Francisco, Houston, Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, and Boston. Early reports suggested that SOS mode was activated on some iPhones due to the connectivity issues.
