A$AP Rocky found not guilty in gun assault trial

Rapper A$AP Rocky was acquitted of two felony counts of assault with a semiautomatic firearm. The charges, which carried a potential sentence of up to 24 years in prison, stemmed from an alleged attack on a former friend in Hollywood on November 6, 2021. Rocky maintained that the firearm was a prop gun, and a jury agreed, finding him not guilty of the charges. The acquittal follows a more than two-week trial during which the alleged victim testified that Rocky fired two shots from a handgun at him.
